Religious Scholars Pay Tribute to Hazrat Usman Ghani (RA), Call for Greater Awareness of Islamic Teachings

Rabita-ul-Ulama Pakistan urges promotion of the teachings of the Rightly Guided Caliphs and Ahl-e-Bait among the younger generation.

Lahore (Special Reporter) Religious scholars and speakers at various events organized by Rabita-ul-Ulama Pakistan paid rich tribute to the third Caliph of Islam, Hazrat Usman Ghani, for his services to Islam and his contributions to the spread of the faith.

Addressing a gathering in Model Town, Lahore, Maulana Abdul Rab Amjad said that the lives of Hazrat Usman Ghani (RA) and the other Rightly Guided Caliphs remain a guiding light for both Muslim rulers and ordinary believers. He stated that the Companions of the Prophet (PBUH) and the Ahl-e-Bait represented the practical embodiment of Islamic teachings and values.

He emphasized that the services rendered by Hazrat Usman Ghani (RA) for Islam constitute a timeless chapter in Islamic history and continue to inspire Muslims around the world. He further highlighted the Caliph’s generosity, charity, and unwavering support for the needy, as well as his significant role in strengthening and spreading Islam.

Other speakers, including Dr. Usman Afaq, Qari Aslam Siddiqui, Pir Allama Muhammad Tahir Rehmani, Maulana Abdul Rauf Rabbani, Maulana Rehmatullah Mohmand, and Hafiz Muhammad Ahmad Baloch, called on the government to officially commemorate the days associated with the Rightly Guided Caliphs and to promote awareness of their teachings among younger generations.

The speakers stressed the importance of introducing youth to the lives, character, and values of the Companions and Ahl-e-Bait, arguing that such awareness can help foster peace, tolerance, unity, and social harmony within society.

Maulana Abdul Rab Amjad noted that Pakistan continues to face numerous social and economic challenges and stressed the need for moral and spiritual guidance rooted in Islamic principles. He urged educational, religious, and social institutions to play an active role in promoting ethical values and strengthening communal harmony.

Participants concluded that the teachings of the Companions and Ahl-e-Bait offer valuable lessons in justice, compassion, service, and unity that remain relevant to contemporary society.
