Lahore (Zuaib Butt) The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) has expressed gratitude to the Chinese Embassy in Islamabad for easing the visa process for Pakistani businessmen by removing the apostille requirement for character certificates and bank statements.
According to the LCCI, this facilitation reflects China’s continued commitment to strengthening trade and economic relations with Pakistan. The chamber said the decision will significantly reduce documentation hurdles, save time, and make it easier for businesspersons to travel to China.
LCCI praised the efforts of the Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan and the visa consular section in Islamabad for ensuring a smoother, more transparent and efficient visa process for Pakistani applicants.
The chamber further noted that China remains one of Pakistan’s key trading partners, and such measures will enhance bilateral trade, improve business-to-business linkages, and create new opportunities for joint ventures and investment across sectors including manufacturing, textiles, engineering, chemicals and SMEs.
It added that improved visa facilitation will also help Pakistani entrepreneurs participate more actively in trade fairs, exhibitions and sourcing events in China, strengthening their integration into global supply chains.
