IG Punjab Continues Promotion Drive, 47 Junior Clerks Elevated to Senior Clerk Posts

Promotion Board approves departmental advancements on merit; over 90 cases reviewed at Central Police Office

Lahore (Zuaib Butt) Punjab Police has continued its departmental promotion process under the directions of Inspector General Punjab Abdul Karim, with 47 junior clerks promoted to the rank of senior clerk after meeting merit and service criteria.

The decision was taken during a Promotion Board meeting held at the Central Police Office and chaired by DIG Establishment-II Suleman Sultan Rana. The meeting was attended by AIG Administration and Security Qazi Farooq Sultan, Registrar Humair Ahmed Qureshi, and AD Administration Iftikhar Anwar.

During the session, more than 90 promotion cases were reviewed in accordance with departmental rules and regulations. Following a detailed assessment, 47 junior clerks were approved for promotion to senior clerk positions.

Subsequently, AIG Administration and Security Qazi Farooq Sultan issued the official promotion notification.

Inspector General Punjab Abdul Karim congratulated the promoted officials and encouraged them to perform their duties with greater dedication, professionalism, and commitment to public service.

Officials promoted to senior clerk positions include Haseeb Riaz, Mudassar Ghafoor, Waseem Ashraf, Mubashir Wakeel, Rais Ahmed, Sajjad Hussain, Ali Abbas, Tayyaba Jabeen, Mohsin Raza, Ahmed Ali, Aqeel Hassan, Muhammad Shakeel, Naveed Anjum, Shahid Hussain, Faisal Zaman, Muhammad Ehsan, Fida Hussain, Amjad Ali, Abdul Majeed Sattar, and Hasnain Haider, among others.

Punjab Police authorities stated that the promotion process is being carried out transparently and strictly on merit to boost employee morale and enhance institutional efficiency.
