Saudi-Pak Business Council Signals Interest in Investing in Pakistan’s Motorway Projects
Prince Mansour Bin Muhammad Al Saud and Abdul Aleem Khan discuss strategic partnerships for M-6, M-10 and M-13 motorway projects
Lahore (Zuaib Butt) Chairman of the Saudi-Pak Business Council, Prince Mansour Bin Muhammad Al Saud, held a high-level meeting with Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan to discuss bilateral cooperation and investment opportunities in Pakistan’s infrastructure sector.
During the meeting, Abdul Aleem Khan invited Saudi investors to participate in Pakistan’s expanding transport network and offered strategic partnership opportunities in the M-6 Sukkur-Hyderabad, M-10 Karachi Port and M-13 Kharian-Rawalpindi motorway projects. He described the projects as commercially viable and strategically important routes capable of generating strong economic returns.
Prince Mansour Bin Muhammad Al Saud expressed the Saudi-Pak Business Council’s keen interest in exploring investment and partnership opportunities in Pakistan’s communications and infrastructure sectors. He noted that the council is well-positioned to collaborate on major development projects and strengthen economic cooperation between the two countries.
The federal minister assured the Saudi delegation that investors would be offered attractive and profitable investment models, emphasizing the critical role of road infrastructure in facilitating trade, connectivity and economic growth. He also reaffirmed the longstanding brotherly ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and welcomed greater Saudi participation in national development projects.
The meeting concluded with both sides expressing optimism about future cooperation, while senior officials from the Communications Ministry and representatives of the Saudi-Pak Business Council also attended the discussions.
